Before Easter our church did seven days of Servolution. What is that? It is 7 days of giving and doing outreaches for people. For example, doing free carwashes, giving out water, helping widows with their yard work, and visiting nursing homes along with many others. My mom and I participated in 2 of the events: the free car wash and helping widowed ladies with their yard. The car wash was fun. 
We did it in the parking lot of Taco Bell on College Drive. 
Talk about a busy spot! 
We washed around 25 cars in an hour and a half for free.
The widows’ yard work was a little bit more work. 
The yards were disasters. 
We mowed, 
weeded, pulled vines, swept, and even planted some flowers!
It felt great to serve others like Jesus did and see the smiles that we brought to their faces. We were highlighted on the Channel 9 news, too:
