and now compost tea. HUH?!?!?!?! He definitely takes organic gardening to heart; I’m so glad he’s got his “happy” back even if it means a bucket of bubbling muck, I mean tea, in his office!
humble beginnings
lots of hard work
I am back in the boot again! Shucks!!
This time I have a high ankle sprain. It is on the same foot, my right ankle, only last time it was a fracture. Personally I think the high ankle sprain hurts a lot worse. Hopefully I wont have to stay in the boot for too long.
…I’m so ashamed, not! I LOVE ELEPHANTS, and I thought this was very witty and charming play of words on OPI’s new summer collection based on culture and colors from India. I’ve also purchased Color of the Zen-tury, from their Japanese collection for Christina. I think it’s a fun and simple way to enjoy our passions more and can’t wait to show off my summer toes when it comes in!Labels: beauty, collections, elephants, Japanese

I adore this layout...when my sweet baby was still amused by her mother!! The definition and poem make it complete!

cathcing up - this was 2007!!!!!!!!! And this is where MY ambition kicked in...

I hurriedly threw the two loads in and ran back to the car to lock myself in and wait there. That did not detour others that came knocking on the window trying to get my attention and get me out of the car…ahhhhhhh. Okay – coast is clear and the spin cycle has got to be finished. I dash inside – while struggling with the exceptionally heavy clothes – again…what was I thinking?!?!?!?! – Mr. Bandana follows me out to my car. Talking the entire time while I, on the other hand, am ignoring him, I jump in the car and take off…he then attempts to pursue me ON HIS BIKE! This has got to be a joke – thank goodness for great horsepower and refined oil!!!

They have several of his pictures on display however pictures didn’t turn out well due to the fact that you can’t use a flash inside. We enjoyed walking on the nature trail where he used to find his specimens to sketch.
Teeny & Brooke taking a rest and enjoying nature
We then went into the main house for a tour. Unfortunately, Teeny was not feeling well, so she and Travis sat outside and waited for me and Brooke to finish. There were several demonstrations around the grounds, too: bird demonstration with a barred owl,
She drew this picture of a Boston Terrier – my aunt used to breed these dogs and has always had a soft spot for them. Currently she just has one, her name is Baby.
Left with stinky sports clothes full of suds, I rinsed what we needed immediately for the game by hand and put the rest on towels to dry out a bit. Later I put those same items…stinky sports clothes…in the dryer to keep them from molding. Uh, can you say MISTAKE – nothing like over-heated old sweat. GROSS. It had the laundry room smelling so bad that even fabreeze didn’t work! On top of that - the washer is sitting full of very dirty water that now smelles like sewer with bleach mixed in it.
SOOOO – since they laundry facilities are less than a year old I called for a repair guy and was routed through India. I was very confused since I thought Frigidaire was an American product! Let me just tell you that Customer Service from India is a NIGHTMARE…and I still don’t have my washer back. I have, however, made several new friends, both in India and at the Laundromat – that’s for another post. This time in the kitchen wasn't nearly as painful as the prvious attempts! I decided to tackle the rest of the strawberries and make a strawberry pizza!!!

“In association football, a midfielder is a player whose position of play is midway between the attacking strikers and the defenders (highlighted in blue on the diagram). Their main functions are to dispossess (tackle) the opposing team, to retain possession of the ball, and to feed it to the strikers, and perhaps, to score as well. Some midfielders play a more defensive role, while others blur the boundaries between midfielders and strikers. The number of midfielders a team uses during a match may vary, depending on the team's formation and each individual player's role. The group of midfielders in a team is called the midfield.”
